To the hon Mayor & Common Council of the City of
Seattle King County Washington
We the undersigned petitioners respectfully represent
that they are the contractors who entered into an
agreement with your Hon body to grade and
sidewalk Dexter Street in said City between
Depot Street and James Street at the boundry
line of Union Lake Additions to said city.
that owing to the inclemency of the weather for upwards
os six weeks lost past and his and want of a
definate grade being established on said street
until about the 15th day of November last
your petitioners have been unable to finish said
grade and sidewalks within the time called
for by their said contract and your
petitioners pray for an extension of 60
days from this date to complete the
contract on their part.
