The undersigned, citizens and taxpayers of the City of Seattle respectfully petition your honorable body to erect and maintain electric arc lights at the following places on the streets of this city, to wit Corner of South Fifth (5) Street and Jackson Street Your petitioners deeming said lights necessary to the comfort and convenience of the citizens of this city.
