Dec 6 Alderman Wilcox rose to a Point
1890 of Order that the reconsideration of
matter laid on the table must be made
at the same meeting or the meeting
following and that motion to reconsider
was out of order: Prest.
Hall did not sustain the point of
order as well taken:
The Bill was then read clause by
clause both original and ammendments.
Alderman Pontius then moved that the
Bill be condurred in as ammended
by the B of A. Seconded by Alderman
Miller.
Alderman Wald amended motion
to the effect that the Board concur
clause by clause: Ammendment Seconded by
Alderman Wilcox; Ammendment ruled out
of order by the President as the
Board [can?d] not offer any
ammendment to the bill at this time.
The original motion was taken up
No Ayes. 8 Nays. Ordered those voting
in favor of concurring in the
ammendments offered by the H of D
were Bogardus, Holbrook, Miller,
Pontius, Snuder 5. Against Wald,
Wilcox, Mr President 3.
Motion to adjourn until Monday Dec 8th 1980 at 7:30 pm
