Board of Aldermen Bill #36 Introduced
"An Ordinance to dispense with the present
detective force, now being a part of the Police
Force of the City of Seattle."
Bill read 1st & 2nd time and referred to
Committee on Health & Police.

A motion was made to adjourn until
Friday evening at 7:30 o'clock P.M. December
19th A.D. 1890. Carried.

day of December A.D. 1890 the Board
of Aldermen of the City of Seattle met
pursuant to Adjournment in the new
City Hall: The President [illegible] Hall in

The following proceedings
are had: Minutes of the previous meeting
read & approved:

The first order of business was the
Consideration of [Hope?] D Bill #8. regarding
the Williams Contract. The opinion of
the Corporation Counsel asked for was
read and a motion was made that the
bill be [replaced?] on final passage. Carried
