COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE
the assessment required by said Ordinance No 257 & filed with
the City Clerk on the 20th day of February 1882, and the Council
have heard all complaints touching said assessment and
haveing made corrections therein & the Council finding such
roll as corrected in accordance with law. It is ordered
that such roll be & the same is approved & is hereby declared
to be the assessment roll for such special districts under said
ordinance
And now the Oregon & Trans Continental Railroad
Company & the Columbia & Puget Sound Railroad Company
submit an ordinance for adoption granting said Companies
certain rights along the waterfront: Thereupon said Ordi-
nance is referred to the Ordinance Committee with instruc-
tions to report thereon at next meeting
The matter of certain complaints in reference to lighting
the street lamps is hereby referred to the Gas Committee
Orderedthat the matter of landing brick upon
the City landing places be referred to the Fire Committee
Ordered that a Warrant be drawn in favor of Chas
McDonald in the sum of $10.00 on the Fire Fund with
which to purchase coal.
Ordered that the Council Stand adjournment until
Tuesday evening March 7th 1882

Be it remembered that on this the 7th day of March 1882 the
Common Council of the City of Seattle meets in its Council Cham-
ber pusruant to adjournment

Wm A Jennings, John Keenan, Moses Keezer & Chas McDonald
Thereupon the following proceedings are had.
