COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE
No 260 the same being entitled "A Special Ordinance to provide for
the Grading and Improvement of Second Street from the Center
line of Mill Street to the Center line of Pike Street in the City of
Seattle County of King and Territory ofWashington" thereupon
after due consideration said Ordinance is adopted upon the
following vote to wit: In favor of adoption Thomas Clancy
John Collins, Wm A Jennings, JohnKeenan, Moses Keezer
& Chas McDonald
And now the Ordinance Committee submit Ordinance
No 261 the same being entitled "A special Ordinance to provide
for the grading and improvement of Front Street from the cen-
ter line of Pike Street to the center line of Lake Avenue Street
in the City of Seattle in King County in Washington Territory"
Thereupon after due consideration said Ordinance is adopted
upon the following voet to wit: In favor of adoption Thomas
Clancy, John Collins, Wm A Jennings, John Keenan, Moses
Keezer & Chas McDonald
Ordered that the Ordinance Committee be and they are
hereby instructed to submit at next meeting an Ordinance
to prevent the opening of any additional China Wash Houses
within the Fire Limits without a permit to be first obtained
from the Council
Ordered that the matter of regulation fish stands
be referred to the Street Committee
Ordered that this Council stand adjourned
