JOURNAL OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE
"of Front Street from the center line of Pike Street to the center
line of Lake Avenue Street in the City of Seattle in King
County, in Washington Territory." After due consideration
said ordinance is adopted by the following vote, towit;
In favor of adoption, Thomas Clancy, John Collins, M. Densmore,
Wm. A. Jennings, John Keenan, Moses Keezer and Charles McDonald.
Against adoption none.
And now the Council proceeds to consider Ordinance
No 266, the same being entitled as follows, towit: "A
special ordinance to provide for the grading and im-
provement of a portion of Second, Pike, Third and Mill
Streets in the City of Seattle, County of King and Territory
of Washington." After due consideration the same is adopted
by the following vote. In favor of adoption, Thomas Clancy, John
Collins, M. Densmore, Wm. A. Jennings, John Keenan, Moses Keezer
and Charles McDonald. Against adoption none.
And now the Ordinance Committee submit Ordinance No
267, the same being entitled as following, towit: "A special
ordinance to provide for the grading and improvement of
Union Street from the center line of Front Street to the center
line of Eighth Street in the City of Seattle, County of King
and Territory of Washington." After due consideration said
ordinance by the following vote. In favor
of adoption, Thomas Clancy, John Collins, M. Densmore, Wm. A.
Jennings, John Keenan, Moses Keezer and Charles McDonald.
And now the Ordinance Committee submit Ordinance
No 268, the same being entitled - "A special ordinance to
provide for the construction of a sidewalk along the North
Side of Jackson Street from the West Side of Eighth Street to
the West Side of Ninth Street, there crossing said Jackson
Street to the South Side thereof, and from there along the
said South side of said Jackson Street to the West side
of Twelfth Street." After due consideration said ordinance
is adopted by the following vote, towit; In favor of adoption
Thomas Clancy, John Collins, M. Densmore, Wm. A. Jennings,
John Keenan, Moses Keezer and Chas McDonald. Against, none.
