Be it remembered that on this the 9th day of May
1882 at 7 1/2 o'clock p.m., the Common Council of the City of Seattle meets as a
Board of Equalization pursuant to adjournment of May 8th 1882

Present His Honor the Mayor L.P. Smith and councilmen
Thomas Clancy, John Collins, M. Densmore, Wm. A. Jennings,
John Keenan, and Charles McDonald

Thereupon the Council proceeds to the equalization of
said general assessment roll for 1882, and to the hearing
of all complaints touching the same until adjournment.

And now at 9 1/2 o'clock p.m. the Council adjourns
until May 10th 1882 at 7 1/2 o'clock

Be it remembered that on this the 10th day of May
1882, the Common Council of the City of Seattle meets in the Council Chamber as
a board of Equalization pursuant to adjournment of May 9th 1882

Present, His Honor, the Mayor L.P. Smith and Councilmen
Thomas Clancy, John Collins, M. Densmore, Wm. A. Jennings,
John Keenan, and Charles McDonald

Thereupon the Council proceeds with the exammination
and correction of the assessment roll for the year 1882.

Ordered that the Clerk be and hereby in-
structed to cause written notices to be served by the
City Marshall upon the following named persons inform-
ing them that the Council propose to increase their
respective assessments and that they appear on
Monday, May 15th 1882 at 7 1/2 p.m to make known their
objections thereto; Framenthal Bros, Schwabacher Bros & Co,
Harrington Smith, S. Kenney, C. P. Stone, Boyd & Poncin,
L.S. Roma, J.H. Sanderson, Wald & Campbell, F. N. Wusthoff,
W Chong.

Ordered that the Council stand adjourned until May 11th 1882.
