Wirth and others praying for the construction of a sidewalk from the corner of Eighth and Pine Streets, thence along the north side of Pine Street to Ninth Street, thence along the west side of Ninth Street to Stewart Street, thence along the north side of Stewart Street to Tenth Street, thence along the west side of Tenth Street to Virginia Street, thence along the North side of Virginia Street to Eleventh Street, said

And now the Ordinance Committee submit ordinance No. 277, the same being entitled as follows, to wit: "An ordinance to provide for the lighting of the streets "and furnishing the City of Seattle with gas, within "fixed limits." After due consideration said ordinance is adopted by the following vote, to wit: In favor of adoption Thomas Clancy, John Collins, Wm. A. Jennings, John Keenan and Charles McDonald. Against adoption, none. And now the ordinance committee submit ordinance No. 278, the same being entitled as follows, to wit: "An ordinance granting unto Charles Coppin, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, the right to lay water pipes in all streets and alleys and parts of streets and alleys in the City of Seattle." After due consideration said ordinance is adopted by the following vote, to wit: In favor of adoption Thomas Clancy, John Collins, Wm. A.
