denied.
And now the Finance Committee make their report upon
the regular monthly report of The Treasurer, that the same is
corrrect: thereupon the Committee's report is accepted and the
Treasurer's report is approved & ordered filed.
And now The Committee on Streets and Street Improve-
ments make their report upon the matter of collecting the
delinquent taxes due on account of Jackson Street Side Walk;
Thereupon the report is re-referred for additional report.
And now The Committee on Streets and Street Improve-
ments make their report upon the petition of John J. McGilvra
for a sidewalk on the East side of 7th Street recommending
that the petition be granted; thereupon the report is adopted
and the prayer of the petition granted; And it is further order-
ed that the Judiciary and Legislative Committee be and they
are hereby instructed to submit an Ordinance in accordance
with the prayer of said petition.
And now the Committee on Streeets and Street Improvements
make their report upon the petition of Stewart and Ebersold for
a side walk on the West side of Front Street recommending that
no action be taken theron at present; Thereupon the report is
accepted and the petition is laid on the Table.
And now the Committee on Streets and Street Improvements
make their report upon the petition of A. P. Spaulding et al for the
opening of 11th Street from Main to Weller Streets, recommending
that the same be opened from Main to King Streets; thereupon
the report is adopted And it is ordered that the Street Com-
issioner be & is hereby instructed to open said 11th Street
in accordance with the said report.
The following claims having been duly audited by the
Council are ordered paid by Warrants drawn on the Funds
& in the Amounts following, towit
