And now the Council proceeds to hear the matter of complaint
of citizens against the manner of making certain grades and the construc-
tion of certain sidewalks, thereupon it is ordered that all
matter of complaints be referred to the Street Committee with
instructions to report at next meeting.
Ordered that the Surveyor be & is hereby instructed to
prevent the excavation of earth under sidewalks below
the grade line until the further order of the Council.
