260 JOURNAL OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE McDonald, Manning & Rasin. Against adoption none. Ordered that the Council stand now adjourned until Friday May 25, 1883 at 8 o'clock p.m. Attest E.S. Osborne Clerk Approved H G Struve Mayor May 2/83 Be it remembered that on this day the 2st day of May 1883 the Common Council of the City of Seattle meets in its Council Chamber pursuant to Ordinance No 344 as a Board of Equalization. The following Officers are present, to wit: His Honor the Acting Mayor Councilman U.M. Rasin and Councilmen O.F. Cosper, Chas F. Clancy and Charles McDonald. Thereupon the following proceedings are had: And now the Council proceeds to the examination and equalization of the General Assessment Roll filed by Frank Seidel City Assessor on May 7, 1883. Thereupon the Council proceeded with such examination until the hour adjournment as which time the matter of such further consideration is laid over until Tuesday May 22, 1883 at 8 o'clock p.m. Adjourned until May 22, 1883 at 8 o'clock p.m. Attest: E.S. 261 COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE May 22/83 McDonald. Thereupon the following proceedings are had: And now the Council proceeds with the examination and equalization of the General Assessment Roll for the year 1883. Thereupon the following changes are made in said Roll, to wit: The assessment of Melody Choir on Block 2 of Edes & Knights reduced on Value of lands from $2800 to 2400. Whereupon the Council proceeds with the examination of said roll until the hour of adjournment at which time the further examination of said roll is laid over until Wednesdat May 23rd 1883 at 8 o'clock p.m. Adjourned until May 23 1883 at 8 o'clock p.m. Attest: E.S. Osborne Clerk Approved H G Struve Mayor May 23/83 Be it remembered that on this the 23rd day of May 1883 the Common Council of the City of Seattle meets in its Council Chamber pursuant to adjournment of May 22 1883 as a Board of Equalization. The following Officers are present, towit: His Honor the Mayor H.G. Struve and Councilmen O.F. Cosper, Chas F. Clancy and U.M. Rasin.
