Ordinances Rec'd
The attorney submits an Ordinance entitled "To appropriate
$2000- for the cleaning repairing and lighting of the Streets." Thereupon
after due consideration the same is adopted upon the following vote
to wit: In favor of adoption Clancy, Day, Harris, McDonald, Rasin,
Ranke & Wusthoff. Against adoption none.
Miscellaneous
Ordered that the City Flag be turned over to the DecorationCommittee
for the Villard Celebration.
Ordered that the Attorney be & is hereby instructed to submit an
Ordinance to prevent the leaving of teams in the streets un hitched.
Ordered that the vote by which the Ordinance entitles "To appro-
priate $300.00 to secure the use of Hook & Ladder Apparatus" was
adopted over the veto of the Acting Mayor be & the same is
hereby reconsidered.
And now the Council proceeds toreconsider an Ordinance enti-
tled "To appropriate $300 to secure the use of Hook & Ladder Apparatus"
Thereupon after due consideration the same is rejected upon the
following vote to wit: In favor of adoption none. Against adoption
Clancy, Day, Harris, McDonald,Ranke & Wusthoff.
And now the Attorney submits an Ordinance entitled "To appropri-
ate $300- to secure the use of Hook & Ladder Apparatus." Thereupon after
due consideration, the same is adopted upon the following vote, to wit:
in favor of adoption Clancy, Day, Harris, McDonald, Rasin,Ranke
& Wusthoff. Against adoption none.
Ordered that the Council stand now adjourned until Firday
September 7, 1883 at 7&1/2 O'clock pm
