Sound Railroad Companies the right of way along the water front,
pending which the further consideration of aid ordinance is laid
over until Saturday October 20, 1883 at 11 o'clock am
Ordered that the Council stand now Adjourned until Saturday
October 20, 1883 at 11 o'clock am

Be it remembered that on this the 20th dayof October 1883,
the Common Council of the City of Seattle meets in its Council
Chamber pursuant to adjournment.
The following Officers are present to wit: His onor the mayor H G
Struve
and Councilmen Thomas Clancy, B F Day, Geo W Harris
& U M Rasin
Thereupon the following porceedings are had:
And now the Council proceeds to consider an Ordinance entitles
"To amend Section One (1) of ORdinance No 262 entitled An Ordinance
granting the right to the Oregon and Trans Continental Railroad
Company
and the Columbia and Puget Sound Railroad Company
and to authorize said Companies to construct maintain and operate
a single of double track railroad along the Water front of the
City of Seattle" After due consideration said ordinance is adopted
upon the following vote to wit: In favor of adoption Clancy, Day
Harris & Rasin. Against adoption none.

An Ordinance is submitted entitled "A special Ordinance appropriating money
to pay audited bills" Adopted upon the following vote, to wit: In favor of adoption
Clancy, Day, Harris & Rasin. Against adoption none.
Ordered that the Council stand now adjourned.
