COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE
Feb. 13/84
Be it remembered that on this the 13th day of February 1884 the
Common Council of the City of Seattle meets in its Council
Chamber pursuant to adjournment.
The following Officers are present, towit: His Honor the Mayor
H. G. Struve and Councilmen B. F. Day, Geo. W. Harris, Chas
McDonald
, B. L. Northrup, Otto Ranke & U. M. Rasin.
Thereupon the following proceedings are had:
And now the Committee on Sewers report an Ordinance
entitled "To provide for the construction of a Sewer in a portion
of Mill Street," thereupon the Council proceeds to consider
said Ordinance, after due consideration said Ordinance
is adopted upon the following vote, towit: In favor of adoption
Day, Harris, McDonald, Northrup, Ranke & Rasin. Against
adoption none.
Ordered that a Warrant be drawn on the City Fund
for Andrew Castro in the sum of $10.00 being the amount deposited by Andrew
Castro
for rent of fish stand.
Ordered that the Council stand now adjourned until Thursday
evening Feb. 14, 1884 at 7-1/2 o'clock P. M.

From E. A. Doud for damages caused by tearing doen of building
to stop a fire. Denied.
From H. E. Norwold et al for granting a license to [?]
Ordered that the vote of this meeting by which said license was
