Thereupon the following proceedings are had: Petitions rec'd From [[Kate Regan]] for removalof racks & Rubbish from property. Rejected From [[W R Brawley]] et al for improving Front Street between Pike and Wall Streets for Street Railway. Granted & Street Commissioner instructed to Make the improvements prayed for. From Chief of Police for an increase of salary to $150.00 per month granted Atty instructed to submit an Ordinance therefor. From Gordon Hardware Co for the right to keep powder in Store Granted upon the condition that the Committee on Fire & Water are satified that the place of storage is safe.
