is adopted upon the following vote count: In favor of adoption Clancy,
Frye, Harrington, Northrup, Snyder, Sox & Yesler. Against adoption none
The Attorney submits an Ordinance entitled "In relation to Warrants
upon the Special Fund for payment of Damages for Madison Street
Extension." After due consideration said Ordinance is adopted upon
the following vote count: In favor of adoption Clancy, Frye, Harrington,
Northrup, Snyder, Sox & Yesler. Against adoption none
The Attorney submits and Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance to amend
Section Four of Ordinance No. 499 and to repeal Ordinance No. 514.
After due consideration said Ordinance is adopted upon the following vote,
count. In favor of adoption Clancy, Frye, Harrington, Northrup, Snyder, Sox
& Yesler. Against adoption none
An Ordinance is submitted entitled "To amend Section 7 of
"Ordinance No. 397: After due consideration said Ordinance is
adopted upon the following vote count: In favor of adoption
Frye, Northrup, Snyder, Sox & Yesler Against adoption Clancy &
Harrington.
2 Ordinances are submitted each being entitled "A Special Ordinance
appropriating money to pay audited bills" Adopted upon the following
vote count: In favor of adoption Clancy, Frye, Harrington, Northrup,
Snyder, Sox & Yesler. Against adoption none.
Ordered that the Council stand now adjourned until Monday
September 8, 1884 at 7 &1/2 O'clock PM

Be it remembered that on this the 8th day of September 1884 the Com-
mon Council of the City of Seattle meets in its Council Chamber
pursuant to adjournment.
The following Officers are present, to wit: His Honor the Mayor
John Leary and Councilmen Chas F. Clancy, Geo. F. Frye, W. A.
Harrinton, B. L. Northrup, Alfred Snyder, E. F. Sox, H. L. Yesler,
G. W. Latimer & W. V. Rinehart.
