COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE

Nov 7/84

Be it remembered that on this the 7th day of November 1884, the Common Council of the City of Seattle meets in its Council Chamber pursuant to law

The following Officers are present, tonit: His Honor the Mayor John Leary and Councilmen Geo. F. Frye, W. A. Harrington, B. L. Northrup, Alfred Snyder, E. F. Sox, H. L. Yesler, W. G. Latimer and W. V. Rine= =hart.

Thereupon the following proceedings are had:

Ordered filed From City Surveyor giving estimates of the cost of grading 7th Street from Seneca to Pine Referred to Street Comtee Ordered that the ordinance now upon the table regarding the extension of Madison Street be & is hereby referred to the Street Comtee Committee Reports From the Committee on Public Buildings, Property and Grounds returning the Assessment Rolls under Ordinances No 565 and No 581 for the Improvement of Front, Kentucky & Harrison Streets and under Ordinance No 591 for the Improvement of Jackson Street with recommendtions that the same be approved. Report adopted and rolls approved. From the Committee on Public Buildings, Property and Grounds returning the Assessment Roll for Temperance Street Improvement under Ordinances No 565 and No 581 with recommendationsthatsiad roll be approved with the folowing changes to wit:
