JOURNAL OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE
On motion Committee on Beach Road given until the
next regular meeting of the Council to report
On motion theStreet Committee is given further time
to report onTerrace Street sidewalk
On motion H L Yesler is granted permission to
put a sewer in the alley in Block 9 of Maynard's
plat
to connect with Washington Street sewer.
Ordinances
An Ordinance is submitted by the City Attorney
entitled "An Ordinance to license the business of
selling Fruit Trees" which after discussion is on motion
referred back to the City Attorney; Councilman Keenen,
Post, & Young voting no.
An Ordinance is submitted by the Clerk entitled
"A special Ordinance appropriating money to pau audited
bills" which upon due consideration is passed by
the following vote viz: In favor of the same R H
Calligan
, J Furth, Geo W Hall, W A Harrington, John Keenen,
T W Lake, Chas McDonald, J J Post, and G W Young against none.
Ordered that Council do now adjourn

Be it remembered that on this the 5th day of February
A D 186 the Common Council of the City of Seattle meets
in its Council Chamber pursuant to law; the following officers
being present, to wit: His Honor the Mayor Henry L Yesler and

Chas McDonald and G W Young, when the following proceedings
