COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY SEATTLE
May 24 1886
On motion the council does now adjourn until
Thursda y May 27th at 7:30 PM

Be it remembered that on this the 27th day of
MAy 1886
the Common Council of the City of
Seattle meets in its Council Chamber pursuant to
adjournment. The following officers being present
to wit: His Honor the Mayor H L Yesler and Councilmen
R H Calligan, J Furth, G W Hall, T W Lake, Chas McDonald,
and G W Young. The Following proceedings were
had to wit:
Bids for City Printing
Bids of the Seattle Daily and Weekly Times and the
Seattle Daily and Weekly Post Intelligencer for doing
the City printing for a term commencing June 1st
1886 and ending June 30th 1887 were received, opened
and read as follows to wit:
Bid of Daily and Weekly Times
"For the delinqient tax list 80 cents per description for the
first publication and 30 cents for each subsequent publication
For Ordinances etc $1.10 per lineal inch for the
first publication and 6 cents for each subsequent publication
For the Regaistration list for each name 15 cents"
Bid of the Daily & Weekly Post Intelligencer
"For publication fo delinquent tax list 75 cents for the
first insertion and 25 cents for each subsequent
insertion for eac separate description
For Registration Lists 10 cents each name
City Ordinance and Advertising etc $1.00 per lineal
inch for the first insertion & 50 cents for each
