Be it remembered that on this 23rd day of July 1886
the Common Council of the City of Seattle meets in its
Council Chamber pursuant to adjournment. The following
officers are present viz: Mayor H L Yesler and Councilmen
R H Calligan, J Furth, W A Harrington, G W Hall and [G W Young]].
The following proceedings were had to wit:

Corner of Block 17 in Maynard's Plat

From H H & L F Dearborn for permission to move wooden
building from Corner of Jackson & Commercial sts to alley
in rear of lot to make room for a brick building.

From finance Committee recommending that the petitioin of
Margaret Harmon praying for the return of $54.00 for
