89 COMMON COUNCIL OF CITY OF SEATTLE Oct 1 1886 Be it remembered that on this 1st day of October 1886 the Common Council oof the City of Seattle meets in its Council Chamber pursuant to law. the following officers are present to wit: Mayor W H Shoudy and Councilmen C W Coulter, J M Frink, J Furth, Jos Green T D Hinckley, T W Lake, C F Reitze and Robt Russell the following proceedings were had to wit: The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Petitions etc Read Petition of James McNaught protesting against the summary removal of Water Tank from Jefferson St between 7th & 8th Sts and offering to make such changes in the tanks as will abate the nuisance at petitioners expense. Granted and the Street Commissioner ordered to make such changes in the premises as may be required to abate the nuisance. Petition of Paul Paulson et al praying for Street Crossings on Main St at intersection of 9th Street & 11th Street Granted. Petition of W K Hughes et al for Street Lights along Front Street from Pine Street to Vine Street Referred to Committee on Street Lights.
