should be built on Seventh Street from Madison St.
to Union Street; Also to the necessity of repairing
Dearborn Street between 8th & 9th Streets and asking
that these matters be referred to the proper com-
mittee. On motion the communication is referred
to the Street Committee and the Street Commissioner
directed to build the steps mentioned on Madison
Street
at the corner of the School House Block.
On motion of Councilman Furth the Street Commissioner
is instructed to put in a street crossing at the intersec-
tion of Ninth & Pine Street.
On motion of Councilman Furth Street Commissioner
Cummings is ordered to construct a stone sewer
in Marion Street to the East side of Third street
to connect with the present stone sewer in said
street, and the purchasing agent directed to pur-
chase the necessary sewer pipe therefor.
The Clerk submits an ordinance entitled "A special
ordinance appropriating money to pay audited Bills"
which after due consideration by the Council
is passed by the following note: In favor of
the same Furth Frink, Green, Hinckley and
Reitze. Against none.
On motion Council adjourned until Saturday
