COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE
Jun 17 1887
An Ordinance is submitted by the City Clerk
entitled "A Special Ordinance appropriating money
to pay audited bills" which is passed by the following
vote, viz: Ayes Frink, Hinckley, Lake, Russell, Reitze.
Noes none.
Ordered that the Council adjourn until Monday June 20th
next at 8 o'clock PM
Approved W H Shoudy, mayor
Attest W R Forrest, clerk

Be it remembered that on this the 20th day of June 1887
the Common Council of the City of Seattle meets in
its Council Chamber pursuant to adjournment. The
following officers are present to wit: Mayor W H Shoudy
and Councilmen J Furth, J M Frink, T W Lake, T D Hinckl-
ey]], Russell & Reitze
Whereupon the following proceedings are had to wit:
Remonstrance of Toklas & Singerman et al against
granting any one the right to erect fish stands at the
foot of Columbia Street Referred to Street Committee.
Remonstrance of E C Kilbourne and others against
building a pest house on the property owned by the
city where the Powder House is located, On motion
the ovet of the Council on establishing the pest house
is reconsidered and the matter re-referred to the Com-
mittee in Public Grounds & Buildings in conjunction with
the Committe on Health & Police.
Application for License referred

The Council now proceeds toconside the veto by the
Mayor of an Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance to widen
