in the City of Seattle" which is passed by the
following vote In favor of the same Frink, Green
Lake, Moran, Neisz, Russell & Reitze Against none.
An Ordinance is submitted by the Cit Attorney
entitled "An Ordinance granting to the Seattle
American District Telegraph Company
the right
and priveledge of erecting constructing main-
taining and operating its telegraph system in
the City of Seattle" which is passed by the
following vote, viz: In favor of the same Frink, Green
Lake, Moran, Neisz, Russell & Reitze Against none.
An Ordinance is submitted by the Clerk entitled
"An Special Ordinance appropriating moneyto pay au-
dited bills" which is passed by the following
vote Ayes Frink, Green, Lake, Moran, Neisz,
Russell & Reitze Nays none.
On motion of Councilman Lake ordered that each
policeman be furnished with a copy of the
Ordinance relating to duties of Police Officers.
Ordered that the Street Committee make such
repairs to Commercial and Mill Streets as they
deem necessary.
Andnow the Council proceeds to examine and
equalize the Assessment Roll for the year
1887 in accordance with law, and to hear and
determine objections thereto:
Ordered that the following changes by made in
said roll to wit:
Pacific Postal Telegraph Co reduced on valuation of
personal property from $3170. to $650.
