in his complaint in writing on file so far
relates to his real estate and that such assessment
be so taken as the true and proper valuation of
his said real estate for taxation.
Ordered that the assessed valuation of the real estate
of Henry L Yesler as valued by the assessor on the
roll of 1887, and revised and corrected by the Council
be deemed and taken as an average and true value
of real-estate for taxation in and by the City of
Seattle for the year 1887; and to the end that all
assessments be made equal an uniform and in as-
cordance with the value upon said assessment
roll a reduction of the valuation of the real estate
of each individual assessed thereon, and on each
percel thereof assessed upon said roll, so as to con-
form the said several assessments to said standard
so above fixed on the said property of Henry L Yesler,
and inasmuch as a reduction of said assessments to
a sum equal to ten per cent addition to the valu-
ation of like property for the year 1886 will make
such assessments conform to such standard, it is
ordered that such assessments be so reduced accord-
ingly: And in the event that the valuation of the
property of any tax-payer should be increased in
order to made the same conform to such standard no
increase shall be made without notice first given to
the party or parties in accordance with law. It is
furthere ordered that upopn such changes being made,
the clerk submit said assessment roll as so revised
and corrected to the Council for consideration.
Ordered that W N Bell be reduced on personal property
$655 account mortgage improperly assessed.
