the City Ordinances up to the present date.
The Matter of the Ordinance granting a franchise to the
Seattle Cable Road and Water Co is continued until Tuesday
evening at 7:30 o'clock PM

granting the Seattle Lake Shore & Eastern Railway Company its successors
and assigns the right and authority to locate lay down con-
struct maintain and operate a railway consisting of one
or more tracks across Columbia St inthe City of Seattle"

On ordinance is submitted by the City Clerk entitled "A Spec-
ial ordinance appropriating money to pay audited bills. Passed un'msly
Ordered that the action of the council inregard to Mary Costello's
assessment be rescinded on account of teh Notice required by
law not having been served by the Chief of Police in time.
