On motion of Councilman Furth the contract is
awarded to E L Emmons upon his filing a bond in
the sum of $1000. & the city Atty dinrected to draw
the usual contract.
The Mayor States that in the absence of
the Chairman of the Board of County
Commissioners he had ordered an indigent
man with broken leg to be taken to Providence
Hospital
. On motion Councilman Moran
is appointed a Committee ofn one to to notify
the County Commissioners of the case.
Communication from Sam'l A Hoyt making
fromal application for the position of
Harbor Master is referred to Committee on
Harbors & Wharves.
