portion of Front Street near Pine Street for storing lumber
and framing timbers for new building. Read and granted.
Petition of John Ritchey for permission to deposit waste
dirt from lot on Second and Pine Streets in a deep
hollow on Pine Street. Read and Granted referred to
Street Com power to act.
Petition of A E Hanson et al for a new Fire Alarm bell at
Engine House No 3 Lake Union. Read and referred to
Committee on Fire and Water.

From City Attorney of matter of petition of Seattle
Upholstering and Mfg Co
for the lease of a portion of
the foot of Spring Street to the effect that there is no
legal objections to such lease being granted, provided
the street is not needed for street purposes.
On motion the Committee report recommending the
granted of said lease is rejected and the lease
refused.
