428 JOURNAL OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE Apr 6 1888 the purpose intended. Adopted. From same Committee granting petition of Stetson and Post and others for additional fire plugs recommending that plugs be places as follows one at the Corner of Commercial and Jackson Streets, one at North East Corner of South Second and King Streets and one on Commercial Street one block south of King Street. Adopted. From Committee on Sewers and Drainage granting petition of Alfred Snyder for a box drain on James Street between Eleventh & Twelfth Streets. Adopted. From Committee on Public Buildings and Grounds accepting donation of H H Dearborn & Co of Lot 2 Somerville for a Public Park. Accepted and thanks of the Council on behalf of the City tendered the donors. From Judiciary Committee rejecting application of D Kauffman for correction of assessment of Kauffman Addition. Adopted. Licenses Ordered Issued McLeod and Kennard, The vote upon issuing said license is as follows: In favor of the same, Frink, Green, Lake, Moran, Niesz, Russell and Reitze, Against the same none. Licenses Referred Geo C Monroe, Oliver Bernard, Geo L Howe, & Alvin S Chase. Bills Allowed The following claims against the City having been duly audited by the Council are ordered paid by warrants drawn on the several funds as follows:
