JOURNAL OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE
May 11 1888
Ordered that the City Attorney notify Justice H F Jones
to abate a nuisance originating on his premises in
the shape of an open sewer.
The City Treasurer having returned the tax roll for the
year 1887 with a list of the delinquent taxes it
is ordered that the same be returned by the Clerk
with a warrant for the sale of property for
delinquent taxes.
Ordered that the appointment of a Board of Registra-
tion be postponed until the next regular meeting.

The City Attorney submits an Ordinance entitled
"An Ordinance establishing the grade of Box Street
in the City ofSeattle between Depot and Harrison
Street
which is passed bythe following vote:
In favor of the same Furth, Frink, Green, Lake,
Russell & Reitze Against the same none.

The City Attorney submits an Ordinance en-
titled "An Ordinance to provide for the grading
of Box Street in the City of Seattle from Depot
Street
to Harrison Street and for bulding side-
walks on said box Street" which is passed by
the following vote: In favor of the same Furth,
Frink, Green, Lake, Russell & Reitze Against the
same none.

The City Attorney submits an Ordinance en-
titled "An Ordinance establishing the grade of
Cherry Street in the City of Seattle between Fifth
and Thirteenth Streets" which is passed by the following vote:
In favor of the same Furth, Frink, Green, Lake,
Russell & Reitze Against the same none.
