511 COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SEATTLE Jun 19 1888 after due deliberation is passed by the following vote, viz: In favor of the same Frink, Green, Niesz & Reitze. Against the same Russell. [right margin] 950 [/right margin] An ordinance is submitted by the City Clerk entitled A Special Ordinance Appropriating Money to pay Audited Bills which is passed by the following vote: In favor of same Frink, Green, Niesz, Russell & Reitze. Against none. Ordered that the Council do now adjourn until Friday June 29th at 8 oclock pm. Attest W. R. Forrest Clerk Jun 29 1888 Be it remembered that on this 29th day of June 1888 the Common Council of the City of Seattle meets in its Council Chamber pursuant to adjournment. The following officers are present, to wit: Acting Mayor Furth and Councilmen Frink, Green, Lake, Moran Niesz, Russell & Reitze. Denny & others for the grading of Rollin St. from Depot Street to Republican Street & constructing sidewalks on both sides of said street. Read and referred to Street Committee. Communication from Health Officer calling the attention the councilto the necessity of at once extending the Madison Street sewer from Seventh Street to Twelfth Street read and referred to committee on Sewers. Petition fo Frederick Prosch praying that the ordinance for the grading of Lake Avenue be passed & the work of grading commenced at once. Read & referred to Street Committee. Petition of E Dawes & others for raising sidewlk to grade on east side of South Second Street between Mill & Washington Streets read and Street Commissioner directed toraise the sidewalk to grade.
