not pursuant to adjournment the chairman
Gov. Dr. Hall in the chair.
At roll call the following members were pre-

The following proceedings are had
Minutes of the previous meeting read and
approved.

The Joint Judiciary Committee of the two
houses submit a report recommending that
further consideration be deferred on the Stewart
Street Roll until an ordinance prepared by
the Corporation Council relative to the question of
[anergument] Districts is passed by the City Council
for the matter of the assessment Roll of Temper
-ance Street the Committee reported in favor
of the approval of the Roll as submitted.
In motion the Report of the Committee was
adopted.

Pursuant to a notice published in the City
official newspaper calling for bids for a
street railway fanchise asked for by the
Rainier Power and Railway Company and
