January 7th 1892 Be it Remembered that on this the 7th day of January AD 1892 the Board of Park Commissioners of the City of Seattle met at their regular monthly meeting in their Rooms in the Bailey Building Cor 2nd & Cherry St. At roll call the following — members were present: Towit: W. E. Bailey W. E. Burgess A. Barker

Danl Jones & C. N. Evans being absent On motion W. E. Burgess was Elected Temporary Chairman Whereupon the following proceedings were had. The reading of the Minutes at the previous Meeting were on motion dispensed with

The Report of the Supt of works done on the Denny & Kinnear Parks during month of December 1891 was read & ordered filed.

The Pay Roll & Bills for the month of Dec 1891 were approved.

Communication from J H Ryckman regarding the Improvement of Denny Park & the Grading of John Street was read and the Supt of Parks instructed to interview property owners on John St regarding same & Report at the next meeting.

The Supt was Instructed to acertain from the City Engineer what small Angles or Squares at the Intersection of streets are available and eligible for small Public Squares and Report at the next meeting

Feby 4 / 92 Be it Remembered that on this the 4th Day of February AD 1892. The Board of Park Cons of the City of Seattle met pursuant to adjournment in their rooms in the Bailey Block Cor 2d & Cherry St at their regular monthly meeting. At Roll Call the following members are present. To wit: W E Burgess Chairman Abram Barker C. N. Evans Messers Bailey & Ranke being absent.

Whereupon the following proceedings are had. On motion the reading of minutes of the previous meeting were dispensed with.

The property owners on John St fronting on Denny Park appeared before the Board and discussed the grading of John Street but deferred definite action until they could get an estimate of the cost. The Board agreed to recommend to the City Council that the work should be done.

Pay roll & city bills for the month of Jany were approved and ordered paid.

The Report of the Supt on progress of work for the month of January was read & filed.

The Supt was authorized to erect a [Adset] & toilet room for ladies & children in Kinnear Park at an expense not to exceed $150.00. Also a bath house in City Park at a cost not to exceed $50.00.

2/4/92 Motion that the Chairman notify the Board of Health to have a niusance abated in Kinnear Park (Dr Churchills seven) was carried.

Motion that the Chair appoint a Committee on Rules and Ordinances for the Government of Parks was carried. The Chair appointed as such Com. Messsers Barker and Evans.

Corr from W. S. Meigs of Grays Harbor offering to procure a pair of elk for the parks was read & the Supt instructed to reply.

On motion the Board adjourned.

Mar 5th 1892 Be it Remebered that on this the 5th day of March AD 1892 The Board of Park Comms. of the City of Seattle met peursuant to adjournment at their regular monthly meeting in their rooms in the Bailey Block Cor 2d & Cherry Sts. At Roll Call the following members are present. To wit: W E Burgess Chariman C. N. Evans Abram Barker Messers Bailey and Ranke being absent.

Where upon the following proceedings are had. The minutes of the previous meeting read and approved.

The Pay Roll and Bills for the month of Feby 1892 were approved.

The Committe on Ordances reported progress and were granted further time.

The Supts. report ws read and approved and ordered filed and suggestions ordered carried into effect.

Com from S. M. Shipley laid on the table.

Letters from Mr. Cleaeland of Minneapolis inquiring wether there as any probability of his services being required by the Board. Instructed to reply that the Board were not in a position
