Minutes of Meeting of Town Council held Jan 7 1901 at 8 o'clock P.M.

Present Mayor Peirson, Councilmen Hellenthal McManus Platt and Hutchison, Absent Councilman Lawrence.

The Minutes of the Meeting of December were read and approved.

On motion the Meeting adjourned Sine die

Minutes of Special Meeting of Town Council held January 17 1901.

In the absence of the Clerk Mr H A Gardner was elected Clerk pro tem:

The Mayor stated that he had removed the marshal from office which action was approved by the Council.

Mr. V R. Peirson resigned the office of Police Judge, which resignation was accepted.

Mr. W.A. Sparks was elected Police Judge. Mr. A.L. Palmer was elected Marshal. The Mayor instructed the Police Judge and Marshal to be sworn in immediately

On motion the Council ratified the action taken by the Board of Health regarding scarlet fever.

On motion the meeting adjourned
