Gentlemen:

We the undersigned, citizens of Seattle, representing five-sixth of the property fronting on the [?]- ment hereinafter prayed for, Petition your honorable Body for the grading of, and the construction of sidewalk on both sides of Cherry Street from the centre of the alley between third street and fourth street, to the centre of fifth street, according to the present esablished grade, aid for which your petitioners will ever pray,
