Dearest Mother

Well our trip to Rome was called off and so we are going to stay in Paris for a few more days

I was overjoyed to see Karl who was mighty nice to me and I was sorry that he had to go the next day

Our places are a little uncertain & I suppose I'll go to Holland for a few days as its only three or four hours from here by train.

The trip has been the most wonderful one. I ever imagined
