Dearest Mother:- It has been raining here about every day but our trip hasn't been moved a bit

I might say that I never have seen such an exhibition as the British Empire Exhibit which was closed yesterday by the Prince of Wales which I attended.

Really wonderful & I have a lot to tell thee on my return.

You go to Rome & are to meet the Pope.

Thee can hardly reach me again after this letter as I'll be on the move & probably move every few days

The trip will cost some where around $30,000 & they have collected $15,000 to date.

I hope every thing is OK and suppose this is well & hope so.

Have bought some lovely presents for the family I think.

Lovingly Jack

Lost Dr Willsons address so haven't seen him.
