Beneath the leafy shade, on velvet sod,
In presence of your friends, before your God,
With glow of health and youth upon your brow,
Each unto each, you made your nuptial vow.

And now the quarter Century passed away
Has brought you to your "Silver Wedding" day,
When, loved and honored by your friends and kin
You freshly start, the Golden crown to win.

With children dear, to cheer the future years
And be your stay - come either smiles or tears,
With hearts attuned to Him who rules the hours
May Heaven's choicest blessings e'er be yours.
