called awhile after supper: Joe went to Fred Stabler's in the
afternoon, home to supper: to Harewood after supper: I went to
Uncle Samuel's late in the afternoon to stay all night, called at
Ingleside.

22d 2d day
Cloudy early morning with some thunder, cleared off before
9 oclock, very windy, a shower about 4 oclock, then cleared
off cool: Henrietta and I went to see Helen Lea in the
morning: H. came home with me to dinner, and we went
to see Ann Wetherald in the afternoon home by 4 oclock: Lucy
went to Burnside in the afternoon: father at Ingleside
and Uncle Samuels in the morning: Joe went to Washington
with potatoes. Laurence and Frank spent the day & night here

23e 3d day
Clear day, cool: father at the Annie Hopkin's land survering:
Lucy went from Burnside to the Cottage: Annie
Dickenson and Emily came here in the afternoon to stay
all night, Louisa Thomas spent the afternoon here: Joe got
home from Washington about half past 5 oclock: Laurence
went to school with Frank, to Ingleside to stay all night.
