Diary: Ellen Stabler, 1906

4th. mo. Thunder and lightening and some rain after night: Debbie Reese called in the afternoon. Laurence and Mary had complany in the evening.

22d. 1st. day Bright most of the day; slight showers after night. All went to meeting and church except myself. Howard called in the afternoon; Harry, Belle and Edith- here after supper.

23d. 2d. day Cloudy morning; bright

4th mo afternoon; slight showers in the morning, and a very little snow; much colder; thermometer 45 in the morning. Brother, sister and I went to Gordens to dinner, at half past six. very windy all day

24th 3d.day Clear, cold and windy; thermometer 39 in the morning, went up to 60 in the afternoon. I did not go out all day. Belle here in the afternoon.

25th 4th day Bright and warmer; Sister and I went downtown in the morning; called to see

4th. mo. cousin Jennie on our way home; in the afternoon we went to see Julia Stabler and Nettie

26th. 5th.day Bright day, warmer. I was out for a little walk in the afternoon; Jordan called to see me. Harry, Bille, Edith and Mrs. Tyler Gorden and Edith and Nettie here to supper.

27th. 6th. day Bright and very warm; thermometer 80 in afternoon. Sister and I went down

4th.mo. town, and then I went to Harrys to lunch.

28th. 7th.day Bright but not so warm; thermometer 72. in afternoon, I did not go out until afternoon, then Sister and I went to Henry Reese's to call.

29th. 1st.day Bright part of the day, slight showers in afternoon; All went to meeting and church except myself. Nettie here to supper. Harry, Belle and Edith here in the evening.

4th. 5th mo 30th.

Bright and very warm; thermometer 85 in afternoon. Sister and I down town all morning. Dottie Reese dined here; Juliet Bartlett here in the afternoon; Marie Benett here after tea; Amy Warfield came in the morning.

5th. mo. 1st. 3d. day Bright and not so warm. I went down town in the morning; then did not go out again.
