5th. mo. 2d. 4th. day Bright part of the day; a very slight shower about noon, and some thunder very distant in the afternoon. I came home in the afternoon stage; [?] came around in the morning, and [stayed?] until I [started?].

3d. 5th. day Bright and warmer; Henrietta went to [P. P.?] in the morning, waited [on?] the mail. I was at home all day.

5th. 7th. day Bright part of the day; warm; clouds passed over in the afternoon with a god shower; some thunder but not very much. Florence [Metherold?] called in the morning.

6th, 1st day Cloudy most of the day, We all three went to meeting; Frank here after supper; some little [?]

7th. 2d. day Cloudy a good deal of the day, and cooler, after rain most of last night; Henrieta went ith me to Dr. Brookes in the morning, then I took his home, and paid a call.

8th. 3d. day Bright and much cooler windy. Elsie [?] came in the afternoon to stay all night.

10th. 5th. day Bright, cold and windy; a very white frost in the morning; thermometer about 40, went up to 54; at home all day, no company.
