2d. mo. 18th. 1st. day Cloudy all day; a little snow early in the morning, all gone before night; the sun out a few minutes at a time, several times, we both went to meeting; Warwick dined here. quite-mild

19th. 2d. day Bright and mild; I went to see Mary Hill, wife of Charlie Hill, then called to see Beulah Lea, then to Ingleside awhile; after I got home Louisa Brooke and Emily Massey; Emily staid to supper

2d. mo. 20th 3d. day

Bright and very mild. I called to see Matilda after dinner, then to see Amie McSherald (?) awhile, then to Sherwood to the sale of books of the book club.

21st. 4th. day

Cloudy all day with rain a good deal of the day; very mild. I called at Ingeleside and Mary Jacksons in the morning; Fanny (?) sick in bed with grip.

Clear and not very cold; I went in the afternoon and took Henrietta to call at Cherry Grove awhile, then I called to see Mrs. Smith at Ashline (?).

23d. 6th. day

Clear and very mild; Henrietta came here in the morning, in the after -noon I took her to Rock -land to call.

24th. 7th. day

Bright and very mild; at home all day; Henrietta went home in the morning stage;

Cloudy morning with some rain, bright awhile in the middle of the day, with a thunder shower about 2 oclock; then cleared off. we both went to meetings; no company here.

26th. 2d. day

Bright and cool; I went to Dr. Brooke's in the morning; in the afternoon went to Herman and spent two hours; dad James Scott jr (?) to drive me there, some lady
