3d. mo. 14th. 4th. day Cloudy all day, with some snow in the morning, foggy in the afternoon, Henrietta and I dined at Rockland; Remus Clerk drove us; he took Henrietta home in the afternoon.

15th. 5th.day Rainy and sleety; very heavy sleet. Colder.

16th. 6th. day Bright day; snowed again last night. No one here.

Sd. mo. 17th 7th.day Bright day ; sleet falling. No one here

18th 1st. day Bright day; I did not go to meeting; Joseph went; Warwick here to dinner; left early; Frank, Elsie, Edward and Anna here in the afternoon.

19th. 2d. day Snowed nearly all day; Henrietta came in the afternoon.

20th. 3d. mo. 3d. day Bright, cold and windy; no company here.

21st. 4th. day Bright and cold; no company here. Joseph went to Ashton in the morning.

23d. 5th day Bright and cold; Julia Hallewell called in the afternoon; Florence Wetherald here to supper.

24th. 7th day Cloudy all day; cold, thermometer 22 in the morning; begun to snow before 5 oclock. James B. Hallewell died this morning at the Garfield Hospital.
