I went to S.S Store and Bank in the morning; also called at "Holly Cottage" in the afternoon had Remus Clark to drive me, went first to Dr. Brookes then to Norwood, then to Pen y Bryn then to Sally Birds; Henretta came in the afternoon stage; Grace Harvey much more poorly.
12th. 5th. day Bright and mild; John Rounds moved out of

4th. mo. our house and Eli Thomas moved in. Grace Harvey died last night; near midnight; Henrietta went home this afternoon, I took her to Bank then to call at Uncle Charlie's, then home
13th. 6th. day Bright and very mild. Joseph went to the funeral of Grace. Helen and Isabel called here after the funeral.
14th. 7th. day Cloudy all day, warm; thermometer over 70 in the afternoon. No company here;

4th. mo. Annie Shoemaker died last night. Rained after night.
15th. 1st. day Rained very hard in the moring, and a great deal in the night; bright afternoon; Joseph at meeting; Frank Leizear came in the afternoon and took Joseph to the "Cottage" to call. Arthur called here.
16th. 2d. day Bright, cooler and windy I went to Dr. Brookes in morning; called at Earnshaw; Arthur dined here, went to Washington
