30th mercury 94 1st day Very warm clear day. Uncle Samuel and Charlie Stabler here before meeting.

mercury 94 7th mo. 1st 2d day Clear day: Lucy at harewood after suppper: John [S?]. Tyson came up in the stage, father took him down to see his land, then to Grove Hill to tea, left him there for the night. The men at Ingleside. 2d mercury 94 3d day Clear and warma;

7th mo 2d mercury 94 3d day Clear and very warm: father met John Tyson at Ashton and took him to Rockville

3d mercury 96. 4t day Clear until evening: I went to the store before meeting: the men at Ingleside: Lawrence came up in the stage, went to Ingleside in the afternoon: father went to Ingleside in the afternoon.

4th 5th day Cloudy a good part of the day, with little rain. Lawrence at Ingleside all day and night.

8th 2d day Cloudy morning, with a little rain, cleared afternoon: father at Ingleside all morning: Lucy and Lawrence spent the day there: Sarah Slater and I called to see Caroline Scott in the afternoon: the meen at Ingelside at work at the hay Anna Brooke

9th 3d day Cloudy early morning, cleared off by 10 oclock: father went to Rockville. I called at Harewood in the morning. the men at Ingliside. Mary E. Moore had a daughter this afternoon.

11t 5th day Bright morning, clouded up early in the afternoon, with a shower: Mary Snowden spent the day here Henrietta and Lucy came up in the afternoon, staid to supper, Lucy staid all night: Sam Budd cleaned out our well: the men begun cutting oats in the meadow in the afternoon. Isaac Bond died this afternoon.

12 6th day Cloudy moring, with some rain bright afternoon: father at Ingleside in the mornnig: at Willim Platts and other places in the afternoon. Anna Stabler, Florence and Julia Hollwell here after supper: Lawrence spent the day at Ingelside.

13th 7th mo. 7th day Clear day: Issac Bond was buried this morning: father down on the manor and other places from home all day: Uncle Samuel called here in the morning, Anna Brooke had ababy son las 1st day night, only weighed 4 lbs, has since died.

14th 1st day Clear day: I did not go to meeting: Joe went down on the manor in the afternoon, staid to supper. Lawrence here all day, he and Lucy went to Harewood after supper,

15th 2d day Cloudy morning: a very slight shower at noon, cloudy again toward evenng: father went to Washington: Lucy dined at the Fulford

16th 3d day Cloudy at times during the day, with a very slight shower in the afternoon: I called at Ingleside in the morning, spent the day at Uncle Samuels: father came home from Washington: Joe cut grass in the chestnut tree field.

17th 4th day Clear except a little while in the afternoon a shower: father went to Laurel for John Durborow and the pump, got the pump in and workinf for 5 oclock. Emily and Ada Bowie here to tea: Emily Painter, James Stone, Aunt Nancy and Anna, Charlie and Fred Stabler here after supper.

18th 7th mo. 5th day Clear and very warm: a gust with rain far an hour after sun down: father took Durborow to Laurel and went to Baltimore himself. Kate here after tea. the men begun cutting oats in the meadow in the afternoon.

19th 6th day Clear and pleasant" father came home from S Baltimore: Lucy dined at Norwood, went with Anna to Walter Brookes in the afternoon: Mary Franklin and baby and Helen spent the morning here: Frank and Mary here in the afternoon: the men at work in the meadow at the oats.

20th 7th day Clear and pleasant: Thomas and Mary Franklin called in the morning: Lucy went to Ingleside

29th 2d day Clear early morning then clouded up awhile, clear again by noon. father at Asshton at the well all the morning: went to Rockville in the afternoon: Lucy and Lawrence spent the day at Sharon: I went to Harewood a while after supper.

30th 3d day Clear day: father got home from Rockville at half past 6 oclock at the well all day: I called to see cousin Sally Lea in the morning spent the rest of the day at Uncle Chalie's: Lawrence there to supper. Carrie Brooke called here in the morning: Joe plowing in the meadow

8th mo. 1st 5th day Clear until about 6 oclock, a good rain beginning at half past 6: Lucy and I went to Plainfield in the morning: father took Mother to Clifton in the afteroon, he went to the funeral of Grafton Wheeler's daughter back to Clifton to supper and they had to stay all night.
