12th mo 23d 2d day Clear and not near so cold. The men getting ice: Lucy came home from Baltimore in the stage. father at Ingleside in the morning and I went to the store and to see Aunty Sally: Joe Moore called here in the afternoon.

24th mercury 5 3d day Clear most of the day and cold. Lucy Snowden up awhile in the afternoon. Lucy at Harewood awhile in the morning: at the office and to see Aunt Sally in the afternoon.

25th mercury 9 4th day Cloudy all day, begun to snow about 2 oclock in the afternoon: Uncle Samuel called before meetin: Lucy dined at Ingleside.

27th 7th day Clear and pleasant: father at Spencerille in the morning at Ingleside to dinner home to supper Emily, Mary and Frank here in the morning. Joe went to Harewood after supper to see Alban and Julia Stabler

28th 1st day Clear and pleasant: father and mother went to Albert Chandlers to supper: Lucy went to see Aunt Sally awhile after supper, and Joe to Phils to see Alban and Julia

Clear and very mild. Uncle Joshua and Aunt Rachel went to meeting: Isaac and family and George Elliott came over and spent the day.

22d. 2d day

Clear and windy: I came home, left Pleasant Hill about 7 o'clock, got home at 4 o'clock, called at Uncle Samuels a few minutes: Father met me at Laurel, he went down 1st day, staid all night at [Curtiside?]

23d. 3d day

Clear day: Emily dined with us. Lucy at Uncle Charlie's to supper. Father at Ingleside in the morning

17th 5th day Clear most of the day: went to a church wedding in the morning: Mary Thomas dined here: Jordan and Merry Reese called in the afternoon: Mary and Lizzie Reese Merry McCormick and Emma here to tea.

18th 6th day Cloudy all day with some rain" foggy in the evening, clear and bright moonlight by 8 oclock: Brother sister and I went to Gerards in the evening to stay

Cloudy all day with rain most of the morning. Edward and Anna Gilpin dined here: Helen went home in the afternoon.

Cloudy all day, foggy and mostly in the morning: Father took me to [Hinds?] Mill on my way to Pleasant Hill, arrived there almost half
