I am thinking of my dear ones who are in
the way to New York tonight - and of Eliza
who has been busy packing today I know; not
of dear Edith - who is busy at something, of
you at Cloverly - and my dear Jack who
is working hard in this heat -

I am believing - Carrie continues helping -
that [Al?] is well - that my "beautiful"
is behaving give her a pat for me

Give love to any who chances to ask
for me - I want the letters about the
Supper - my last letters from Aunt E. has
written that day - hope I will find mail
at Big [Spiny?] Inn if this letter wasnt
such a failure I would suggest letting
the others see it. Florence there - must - be
treating the family very well from accounts.
