Jimmy Boyd worked his lot in the morning.
He and I took "Kitty" over to the
Union.
Sunday June 7th went to Church at
Chestnut Level.
Monday June 8th Jimmy Boyd worked
all day, with the oxen on the roads.
Tuesday June 9 th Jimmy Boyd went to
Christiana and Penningtonville on a fruitless
search for seed potatoes. Mailed letter to sister Mary.
Wednesday June 10th
Took Harriet & the children
down to Isaac Woods to spend the day.
called at Elim stoped at Edwd.
Morgans and purchased 2 Bushels of
potatoes (a mixture, principally Monitors.)
for which I paid $1.70 pr bush[:.] [bushel]
Thursday June 11th
Rained all day, cut the potatoes
for planting.
