Monday June 8^th Jimmy Boyd worked
all day, with the oxen on the roads.
Tuesday June 9 ^th Jimmy Boyd went to
Christiana and Penningtonville on a fruitless
search for seed potatoes. Mailed letter to sister Mary.
Wednesday June 10^th
Took Harriet & the children
down to Isaac Woods to spend the day.
called at Elim stoped at Edw^d.
Morgans and purchased 2 Bushels of
potatoes (a mixture, principally Monitors.)
for which I paid $1.70 pr bush[:.] [bushel]
Thursday June 11th
Rained all day, cut the potatoes
for planting.
