Friday June 12th Rained in the morning
Mother R had sick head ache all day
Planted potatoes s.w. of the orchard plowing
the sod onto them and putting cold
barn yard manure pretty heavily on top
of them before turning the furrow over
them. Rev. Mr Watson called and took
tea with us gave a note for his accomodation
to the National Bank of Lun: Co:
for which I took a receipt explaining
the nature thereof witnessed by D. A. R.
Went to Jas: Brysons and vaccinated
Rev. Mr Greggs infant also vaccinated
my little son Willie let J Boyd have
16 pounds of flour
1 Saturday June 13th Beautiful weather
went in the morning to Jas. Barne's to
help them raise their new barn & finished
planting potatoes rolled them then
harrowed faithfully and rolled the ground
again, hauled down rails from the
"clearing field" and made most of
the fence around the potato patch
